Football season is back, everyone! There is no time like fall to enjoy the excitement and thrill of the game. There is a lot of opportunity to both play and participate in football events this fall.

Obviously, there will be games playing on the TV at a constant rate for the next while. That being said, the weather is going to be crisp and perfect for gathering friends and having some football fun of your own. From simple pickup games to competitive leagues, there is always the chance to have fun playing football outside.
Indeed, that is one of the best joys of the season! There is something uniquely special about getting friends and family together to have a great time and engage in some friendly competition. Building memories and having fun with this unique sport is one of the best ways to enjoy fall, and usher out the summer with something new and fun!
Now that it’s almost summer (ish), let’s talk about playing football!
Playing football with friends is a great summertime activity that can get everyone involved and allow them to have a great time. this casual sport can be configured for almost any number of people, and the game modes can also be configured so that everyone has a lot of fun.
The great thing about playing this port with friends is how the rules can be changed to accommodate everyone. While the core game is often dominated by hardened athletes who crush all opposition, casual football is something that everyone can participate in and even succeed in.

Popular variants include the following:
Flag Football- this game has two teams square off and play football, with each person wearing a pair of “flags” that they tuck into the back of their pants. Play is normal, if a bit light, and follows the familiar format. Runners who are in possession of the ball can only be downed if one of their flags is removed.
Since this type of game removes tackling altogether from the equation, it frees up people to play more. Likewise, the most able players are given a handicap, because they can be downed by anyone who grabs onto the trailing flags.
Two Hand Touch- This plays a lot like flag football, but people ar required to place two hands o a runner to down them. This is a more phsycal version, but still removes tackling and keeps it light and fun.
For best results, we recommend playing with a Nerf football, so that everyone can have fun throwing and catching without any issues.
OK, turns out I was wrong in my predictions. And so was Madden 11!
The Packers beat out the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV on Sunday. The Packers defeated the Steelers 31-25. Both teams started off strong, but the Packers were able to gain the lead late in the game and hold on to it, easing more points out of the frustrated Steelers.
Of special note druing the game was the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers led the Packers in a resolute offense, and constantly forced the Steelers to adapt to his style of play.

The guy managed to make the it from the bottom of the draft list 6 years ago to being the MVP of one of the best Super Bowls of all time. Now that’s a comeback.
I bet that the teams that passed on him are kicking themselves now. Hahaha! Great job, Packers. Even though you defied the predictions of myself and a video game, the video game and I still appreciate a spirited win.
