30 Point Buck

Wayne Schumacher of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin shot and killed a deer on Sunday nigh that had a count of 30-points, a 20 and a 1/2 inch spread, and weight of 225 pounds. Very impressive kill if you ask me. The shot was fired from roughly 15 yards away in a tree stand. After being hit, the deer scampered for about 60 yards before it hit the ground. Probably the most impressive part of the kill was that the buck was taken down with a bow. Every time I hear of a deer hunter taking down a good-sized buck with a bow, I am amazed.
Schumacher said that he will preserve the wonderful memory with a nice shoulder mount.
